For two generations JV Barr Construction has been building, constructing, renovating or repairing. JV Barr Construction was founded in 1996 by Joseph Virgil Barr, Jr. It is a company he built on honesty, honor and integrity. He built a solid strong reputation, and it still stands today.
Joey ran his construction company as a solo practitioner for almost 20 years. His daughter, Amie Barr joined him at the helm in the Spring of 2005 after earning her South Carolina General Contractors License. Joey and Amie worked together on both residential and commercial projects until his sudden death in 2017. Now, Amie runs the company with the same values her father instilled in her and built his company on.
Our Mission remains the same. JV Barr Construction is built strong to assist our clients in building their dream project while delivering our services in a professional, honest, safe and innovative way, all while maintaining the honor and integrity instilled since its inception.
